Inter forward Joaquin Correa and defender Danilo D’Ambrosio once again worked separately from the rest of the group in today’s training session.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who reported this afternoon via FCInter1908 that the pair both continue to work on individually recovery and rehabilitation programs as they continue to return to fitness from injuries.

Both Correa and D’Ambrosio have yet to get back to full training with the rest of the squad in the team’s World Cup break preparations for the return of the club season.

Neither of the duo travelled with the squad on their training retreat in Malta last week, and both have also been working individually this week at the team’s training ground in Milan.

In Correa’s case, am Achilles tendon problem that caused the forward to miss out on participation in the World Cup with Argentina has been the injury he is recovering from.

D’Ambrosio, meanwhile, is recovering from a muscle injury that caused him to miss the final few weeks of the league season before the World Cup break.
