Inter are expecting to have the results back from a medical test on midfielder Marcelo Brozovic sometime late this afternoon.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, who report that the 30-year-old will be examined for muscular problems whilst with the Croatian national team camp at the World Cup in Qatar.

Brozovic was substituted off only a few minutes in the second half of Croatia’s semifinal clash with Argentina yesterday in Qatar.

After the match, the team’s coach Zlatko Dalic explained that the 30-year-old Nerazzurri midfielder had felt something in his muscles, and so he was removed from the action as a precaution.

It was not immediately clear after the match what the issue was for Brozovic, just that he had felt some discomfort.

This afternoon, Brozovic is undergoing tests on his condition with team doctors.

Inter are closely following the situation, and will expect to have the results back from the tests sometime late this afternoon.
