Serie A clubs Empoli and Lecce have both come forward with an interest in loaning Inter striker Sebastiano Esposito during the January transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that both of the pair are keen to add the 20-year-old to their team for the rest of the season.

Inter are getting ready to decide on Esposito’s future now that the young striker’s loan with Belgian side Anderlecht has been cut short.

Another loan move is almost certainly on the cards for Esposito, but it is not yet clear where.

Esposito has already had loan spells with the likes of SPAL and Venezia in Serie B, whilst he spent last season out on loan with Basel, so he could go to a club in or out of Italy.

Some teams in Italy have expressed an interest in signing the 20-year-old on loan for the rest of the current campaign, and according to the Corriere, Empoli and Lecce are among them.
