Young Inter midfielder Giovanni Fabbian has seen his value grow exponentially since his decision to join Inter’s youth team over that of Juventus in 2018.

This is highlighted by Italian news outlet Calciomercato.com, who note how significant the Nerazzurri signing the youngster from Padovan has turned out to be now that he has a market value of around €20 million.

Fabbian joined Inter’s youth team from that of Padovan in 2018.

There had been interest from Juventus in snapping up the youngster, but he chose the Nerazzurri over the Bianconeri.

Since then, Fabbian’s form has continued to improve throughout Inter’s youth teams.

In the summer, after having helped Inter’s Primavera side to the Under-19 Scudetto last season, it was decided that the 19-year-old is ready for first-team football.

Serie B team Reggina won the race to sign Fabbian on loan, and they have benefited greatly, as the Inter-owned midfielder has put in a string of good performances to get them on track for promotion to the top flight.

It could be Inter, however, who are the really winners.

Fabbian’s form in his very first stint in the senior professional game has seen his market valuation rise significantly, to the point where he is worth around €20 million, for a player who came through the Nerazzurri’s youth ranks.
