Inter are expected to face competition from a number of suitors for Morocco international Azzedine Ounahi, after Angers president Said Chabane revealed they had received offers already.

The midfielder has shone in Morocco’s impressive run to the semi-finals of the World Cup in Qatar, that was ultimately ended by defeat to reigning champions France on Wednesday, and is excellent displays have brought him onto Inter’s radar.

However, in an interview published in today’s newspaper edition of French outlet RTL Sport, Chabane revealed that clubs from across Europe had begun enquiring about Ounahi, and that Angers were looking to sell in January on the proviso that the 22-year-old remains with them until the summer.

“We have had many offers for him, from big and medium-sized clubs,” Chabane declared.

“They have come from all over, from Italy, Spain, England, and France. Our wish is to find an agreement in January, but also that he can remain until the end of the season.”

Ounahi joined Angers from third-tier club Avranches in 2021 and has made 47 appearances, scoring twice.

A Morocco international since January of this year, Ounahi has represented the Atlas Lions on 18 occasions.
