Inter midfielder Roberto Gagliardini could still be sold during the January transfer window, with teams in Serie A keen on his signature.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, who report that the 28-year-old is the subject of interest from the Italian top flight and could still move on for a fee next month.
Gagliardini’s current contract with the Nerazzurri is set to run out at the end of June 2023.
Given that there are no signs that a new contract would be possible, it is virtually certain that the former Atalanta midfielder will depart on a free transfer at the end of his current deal at the very latest.
However, it is still possible that Gagliardini will leave Inter even before then.
According to Sky, there are clubs within Serie A who are interested in signing the 28-year-old six months before the end of his contract, during the January window.
