Dutch national team duo Denzel Dumfries and Stefan de Vrij are set to make their return to training with the rest of the Inter squad today.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that wingback Dumfries and defender de Vrij will report back to training after enjoying their respective post-World Cup vacations.

Both Dumfries and de Vrij were part of the Netherlands team that reached the quarterfinals of the World Cup in Qatar.

The Oranje were eliminated by eventual winners Argentina in a penalty shootout.

Dumfries started every one of the Netherlands’ five matches at the tournament, whilst de Vrij did not play a single minute.

Both of the Dutch pair were granted a post-World Cup vacation as all Nerazzurri players engaged in Qatar had been.

Both of their vacations are now over, however, as they are expected to report to Inter training.
