Inter will still have DigitalBits as their main shirt sponsor when they face Napoli in their first Serie A match back next month.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri will not remove the cryptocurrency company’s logo from the front of their shirts before January 4 when they return to league action.

The situation between Inter and DigitalBits does not look as though it will last much longer.

The cryptocurrency company’s nonpayment of amounts owed to the Nerazzurri based on their contract has meant that the club are actively looking for a new sponsor to replace them.

Inter could decide to remove the DigitalBits logo from the front of their shirts soon, whilst Roma are also in a similar dilemma with the sponsor.

As far as whether the logo will be removed by the time of Inter’s meeting with Napoli on January 4, however, the Gazzetta report that this would be unlikely.
