Inter have offered defender Alessandro Bastoni a contract extension until the end of June 2027 as they look to secure his future amid interest from the Premier League.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri have spoken with the 23-year-old’s agents and offered a contract worth €4.5 million net per season to ward off Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City.

Bastoni currently earns €3 million net per season at Inter, where he is under contract until the end of June 2024.

The 23-year-old stayed at Inter over the summer despite strong interest coming from Tottenham in particular.

The interest in signing the former Parma and Atalanta defender has not gone away, however, with City also joining Spurs in pursuing him.

Accordingly, the Nerazzurri do not want Bastoni to go much further on a deal which expires at the end of next season.

The 23-year-old has been offered a new contract that would take him until the end of June 2027.
