Monza are set to begin talks to try and sign Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi on a permanent basis soon.
This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri will expect a fee of at least €5.5 million to sell the 27-year-old in order to avoid a capital gains loss on his departure.
Sensi is currently only on loan at Monza.
The former Sassuolo midfielder is currently out injured, but is expected to make his return shortly after January.
Monza coach Raffaele Palladino is a big fan of Sensi, and is hoping that the Brianzoli can sign him on a permanent basis.
For their part, the Nerazzurri would be amenable to selling the midfielder permanently.
Given that the final season of Sensi’s contract weighs on Inter’s budget at around €5.5 million, the Nerazzurri’s asking price would be for at least this amount in order to avoid a capital gains loss on his departure.
