Paris Saint-Germain are still interested in signing Inter defender Milan Skriniar, but not during the January transfer window.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who reported this afternoon via FCInterNews that the French champions will not move for the 27-year-old next month regardless of whether or not he extends his Nerazzurri contract.

PSG failed to sign Skriniar during the summer transfer window despite having made him a major target, but he has hardly fallen off their radar.

Given that the Slovakian has yet to give his response to Inter’s contract extension offer, the Parisians could feel that there is still a very real chance of signing him.

If Skriniar does not extend his Inter contract then he could be availability on a free transfer next summer, a fact that PSG would be keen to take advantage of.

However, according to Mediaset, there is little interest from the Parisians in trying to sign the former Sampdoria defender for a fee during the January window.
