Chelsea defender Kalidou Koulibaly would be among Inter’s targets to replace Milan Skriniar should the defender not extend his contract.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper La Repubblica, via FCInterNews, who also name Roma’s Chris Smalling and Spezia’s Jakub Kiwior on the Nerazzurri’s list of possible replacements for Skriniar.

Should Skriniar not decide to extend his contract with Inter then the club will be in search of a replacement for starting next season.

Former Napoli defender Koulibaly could already be available a season on from his move to Chelsea, and the 31-year-old Senegalese international’s extensive Serie A experience and proven quality could make him an attractive target.

Meanwhile, Smalling would represent an option from within Serie A and could be available on a free transfer.

Polish international Kiwior is yet another name from Serie A on Inter’s list.

According to La Repubblica, Spezia would hold out for around €15 million for the 22-year-old.
