Inter and AC Milan would be prepared to change course on their new stadium plans if the delays continue to mount to building in the city of Milan following the City Council debate which starts today.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri and the Rossoneri will no longer hesitate to pursue building elsewhere if they feel that they cannot get timely approval from the City Council.
The debate in the City Council of Milan today will concern several medication proposals to Inter and Milan’s plans that emerged from the public debate which concluded last month.
The clubs will be hoping that everything proceeds fairly swiftly, and that none of the outcomes of this debate will result in more major delays to their plans to start construction.
However, if the clubs feel that the debate is only introducing further delays, then they would not hesitate to pursue an alternative to their first-choice plan which is to demolish the San Siro and build a new stadium within the city of Milan in its place.
