Inter have already made their offer to defender Stefan de Vrij for a new two-year contract extension at around the wages he currently earns.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInter1908, who report that the Nerazzurri have offered to extend the Dutchman’s deal at around €4 million net per season, as clubs in the Premier League start to show an interest.

De Vrij and his agent Federico Pastorello already have Inter’s offer for a new contract.

The club would be ready to offer the 30-year-old former Lazio and Feyenoord defender a two-year contract extension worth around €4 million net per season.

De Vrij is the subject of interest from some unnamed clubs in the Premier League, who would be keen on signing the Dutchman on a free transfer if he does not extend his contract with the Nerazzurri.

Inter are expecting updates in the negotiations soon.
