Inter are set to offer striker Edin Dzeko a new contract worth €2.8 million net per season.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInter1908, who report that the Nerazzurri will try to extend the Bosnian’s future past the end of June 2023, with Galatasaray and teams in MLS interested in signing him.

Given the continued importance of Dzeko’s contributions to the team, there is little question that Inter will still try to extend his contract past the end of the season when it is set to expire.

However, the 36-year-old will not be offered a deal on the same wages that he currently earns.

According to the Corriere, the offer that arrives from the club should be for a new deal worth around €2.8 million net per season.

It will remain to be seen whether this is enough to convince the former Roma, Manchester City, and Wolfsburg striker on a new deal.
