Inter could decide to move for Valencia midfielder Yunus Musah during the January transfer window in order to add depth to their midfield during the packed fixture list from January onwards.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri could look to sign the 20-year-old in order to have another starting-quality midfielder in the team.

As far as the Nerazzurri’s current midfield goes, the first-choice trio of Nicolo Barella, Hakan Calhanoglu, and Marcelo Brozovic remains, whilst Henrikh Mkhitaryan has also proven an invaluable option.

Meanwhile, Kristjan Asllani and Roberto Gagliardini are also capable of filling out the squad.

However, Inter would see Musah as capable of starting in a number of roles in midfield, and not lowering the quality much compared to the regular starters.

Given the fact that the team will have a large number of matches on the way in a compressed timeframe, they could see this as sufficient reason to make a move for Musah in January.
