Inter are hoping that striker Edin Dzeko, wingback Matteo Darmian, and especially defender Alessandro Bastoni could agree contract extension along with Milan Skriniar.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri would like to see an “imitation effect” that brings about a wave of new contracts.

Skriniar’s contract situation remains the priority at Inter, given that the 27-year-old’s current deal runs out at the end of June 2023.

The Nerazzurri remain optimistic that they can convince the former Sampdoria on an extension, but he is far from the only player whose future they want to secure in the form of a new deal.

Both Dzeko and Darmian also see their contracts expire at the end of the season, and the club are hoping that if they can extend Skriniar’s deal, both will soon follow.

Meanwhile, Bastoni’s contract runs out at the end of June 2024, and the hope is that he too would be ready to agree a new contract not long after Skriniar.
