Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin feels that there is little chance of Inter being sold unless owners Suning’s valuation is met.
Speaking to Italian broadcaster Telelombardia, via FCInter1908, Biasin made clear that at the moment the absence of any offers that would convince Suning by meeting their €1.2 billion asking price makes a sale unlikely.
There have been persistent rumours that Suning could end up having to sell Inter, which have been based around the financial situation at the club.
However, regardless of the financial situation, a change of ownership could only take place if Suning are either forced into giving up control, or make the decision to agree a sale.
For Biasin, the fact has always remained that the current owner’s valuation of the Nerazzurri is clear, and that it has not yet been met.
Right now there are no offers worth €1.2 billion on the table for Inter, and for as long as this is the case, the owners are not likely to sell.
“Inter have been unable to spend for too many transfer windows,” the journalist said.
“The problem is that I don’t see an exit any time soon.”
“I know what the reality is, the fact is that the owners would only sell in the event that an offer of €1.2 billion were to arrive,” he continued.
“The question is, who is making that offer right now?” Biasin added. “The answer is nobody.”
