Club Brugge winger Tajon Buchanan is on Inter’s radar as a possible replacement for Denzel Dumfries in the event that the Dutchman departs.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Il Messaggerio, via FCInter1908, who report that the 23-year-old Canadian international is being followed by the Nerazzurri as they consider their plan to replace Dumfries should he be sold.
Dumfries looks to be the main candidate for a sale from Inter, with the Nerazzurri hoping to bring in a fee of around €50-60 million for the 26-year-old former PSV wingback.
Accordingly, the Nerazzurri’s search for a right-sided player capable of replacing Dumfries at wingback is accelerating.
Club Brugge winger Buchanan is one of the players who the Nerazzurri are most impressed by in this respect.
The Canadian is seen as having the right qualities to step into the shoes of Dumfries covering the entirety of the right flank by Inter.
