Inter striker Romelu Lukaku has no doubts about wanting to extend his loan spell from Chelsea beyond the end of the current season.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 29-year-old’s only priority is to stay at the Nerazzurri.

Inter have an informal agreement with Chelsea that they will try to negotiate an extension of Lukaku’s one-season paid loan deal at the end of the current campaign.

Moreover, it has been reported that the two clubs are aiming to work towards making the Belgian’s transfer back to the Nerazzurri permanent.

There is no guarantee that an agreement will be found between Inter and Chelsea, particularly if the Nerazzurri are to have any doubts or misgivings.

For the player’s part, however, Lukaku is targeting a future at Inter well beyond the end of the current season, and would not want to see his time at the club cut short when his current loan ends.
