Italian journalist Ivan Zazzaroni is hoping that Inter can show that their problems off the pitch are not holding them back on it.

Writing in his column published in today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInter1908, Zazzaroni explained that he would like to see the Nerazzurri succeed in spite of the difficulties that they are facing off the pitch.

Inter’s financial issues are well-documented, and this has created a mood of uncertainty around the club.

The risk of this is that the Nerazzurri will find it hard to build momentum without the distraction of setbacks coming at the club level.

Accordingly, for Zazzaroni, it would be positive to see the Nerazzurri prove their doubters wrong and achieve their goals regardless of what is happening surrounding the club at a financial level.

Zazzaroni gave his views of what he happens throughout the top places in the Serie A table.

“I really want to see Spalletti’s Napoli again,” he writes, “who may well have fooled their rivals into having hope with a couple subpar results in preseason limbo, the infinite determination to pick up points by hook or by crook of Pioli’s Milan.”

He goes on “I’d like to see Inzaghi’s Inter show that they’re stronger than the problems off the pitch, the beauty of Sarri’s Lazio, the ‘Mourinho miracle’ at Roma, and I’m curious to see how much the problems of Agnelli at Juve will affect the team on the pitch.”
