Paris Saint-Germain are considering further raising their contract offer to Inter defender Milan Skriniar to convince him not to extend his deal with the Nerazzurri.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, via FCInterNews, who reported this afternoon that the Parisians still believe that they can sign the Slovakian and want to take advantage of the delay in his response to Inter’s offer.

Skriniar has yet to give a decisive response to Inter’s offer of a new contract.

The 27-year-old is expected to give his response to what is essentially a take-it-or-leave-it offer from the Nerazzurri, who have gone as high as they can go, sometime in January.

PSG, by contrast, could still bump their offer up further from what has already been substantially higher than what Inter are offering to the former Sampdoria defender.

The French champions could decide to do just this whilst the player makes his decision with regards to Inter’s offer, in the hopes of convincing him to accept their offer instead.
