Reggina head coach Filippo Inzaghi feels that his team acquitted themselves well in their friendly match against Inter.

Speaking in a press conference, via FCInterNews, the coach praised his team for their performance against the Nerazzurri, and stated that he was happy that they had the opportunity for the match.

Inter faced off against Reggina on Thursday, in what was their second-last friendly match before they return to Serie A action next month.

The Nerazzurri won the match 2-0, with striker Romelu Lukaku and Edin Dzeko scoring a couple of goals late on to give them the victory.

However, Filippo Inzaghi’s team showed exactly why they are currently second in the Serie B table for the majority of the match.

The Calabrians didn’t make it easy for the Nerazzurri to break them down, whilst they also forced a couple good saves out of Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana.

“The match against Inter was yet another demonstration of what this group is capable of,” the coach said.

“We had a good match against the Nerazzurri, and now we have to finish off an excellent first half of the season in the best way possible,” he added.
