Inter wingback Robin Gosens will not leave the Nerazzurri during the January transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri have firmly taken the decision not to sell the 28-year-old and look for a replacement next month.

The lack of playing time that Gosens has received behind Federico Dimarco on Inter’s left flank this season so far has led to speculation that he could be on his way as early as January.

The German had already been the subject of transfer interest from Bayer Leverkusen during the summer window.

However, according to the Gazzetta, the Nerazzurri have assessed the situation and have decided that Gosens will not transfer to another club next month.

Finding a replacement for the German could prove difficult, whilst his form looks to be improving in training and so he is considered an important player for the remainder of the season.
