Inter striker Edin Dzeko is still waiting for the Nerazzurri to make their first formal contract extension offer.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the 36-year-old is still inclined to extend his deal with the Nerazzurri despite offers from Galatasaray and unnamed clubs in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

Dzeko has yet to receive a formal contract offer from Inter, although the player and club have held initial talks where the Nerazzurri have made clear to him that they would like to extend his deal past the end of June 2023.

The Bosnian has already received an offer from Galatasaray worth around €4 million net per season, whilst clubs in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have offered him even more.

However, according to FCInterNews, Dzeko still prefers to stay at Inter, and is just waiting for the Nerazzurri’s first offer to arrive so that negotiations can begin.
