Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi is yet to make a decision on whether to start Stefan de Vrij or Francesco Acerbi at the heart of the defense in the team’s Serie A clash with Napoli next month.
This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who also report that Edin Dzeko and Romelu Lukaku are set to start the match in attack, and that Marcelo Brozovic is likely to be left out of the starting eleven.
Inzaghi will naturally be aiming to start the strongest possible eleven available to him in the massively important match against league leaders Napoli.
The late return of Lautaro Martinez means that that it will be virtually certain that the Argentine does not start, whilst Brozovic is similarly a major doubt for the starting eleven.
In attack, it will be Lukaku and Dzeko, according to the Gazzetta.
Meanwhile, Alessandro Bastoni and Milan Skriniar should start on the left and right of the back three respectively, but Inzaghi has not yet made up his mind as to which of de Vrij or Acerbi will play alongside them.
