Inter striker Lautaro Martinez has made clear to the Nerazzurri that he is happy at the club and would have no intention of leaving.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 25-year-old has been in regular contact with Inter during the World Cup break and has emphasized his desire to stay.

Martinez has been one of the players in Inter’s squad most persistently linked with a big money move over the past few seasons.

However, for the player’s part, the Argentine has never pushed for an exit.

On the contrary, Martinez has always felt that Inter is the right environment for him as a footballer, whilst he also enjoys life in the city of Milan with his family.

Accordingly, the 25-year-old has always stayed put despite the transfer rumours.

According to the Gazzetta, Martinez has once again emphasized to Inter that his position remains unchanged, and that he will not ask for a transfer.
