Both Tottenham Hotspur and Atletico Madrid would be interested in signing Inter defender Stefan de Vrij on a free transfer in June, whilst Feyenoord are targeting him for January.

This according to Dutch news outlet Voetbal International, via FCInterNews, who report that both Tottenham and Atletico are keen on the Nerazzurri defender when his contract expires, whilst his old club Feyenoord have also asked for information for January.

De Vrij’s agent Federico Pastorello has indicated that the 30-year-old would like to stay at Inter past the end of the current season, but has also not closed the door to a move away on a free transfer in June.

If de Vrij is to leave the Nerazzurri, Atletico and Tottenham would be two of the clubs keenest on taking advantage.

Meanwhile, de Vrij’s former club Feyenoord are looking to replace the injured Gernot Trauer in their backline for the rest of the season and have inquired about the possibility of signing de Vrij for a fee in January.
