Inter’s medical staff are monitoring the thigh flexor of midfielder Marcelo Brozovic in order to ensure that another injury is avoided.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the initial signs look to be positive that the 29-year-old is not risking a reinjury.
Given that Brozovic had been out for more than a month through a thigh injury sustained during the September international break, the Nerazzurri are naturally wary of taking any risks that the injury could reemerge.
Thusly, the thigh flexor that had been the problem with that injured is being regularly assessed by the Nerazzurri’s medical staff.
The team are well aware that particularly after his lengthy World Cup campaign with Croatia and early return to training with his club, the muscle could well become overstressed.
According to the Gazzetta, however, the feeling is that there are positive signs and little risk of injury in the view of the medical staff.
