It is looking increasingly like Inter will have a difficult time convincing Milan Skriniar to extend his contract as transfer interest around him grows.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInter1908, who report that teams in the Premier League are joining Paris Saint-Germain in eyeing up a move for the Slovakian on a free transfer.

Inter have been working in the past few weeks to try and extend Skriniar’s deal, having decided against selling him to PSG during the summer.

The Nerazzurri have an offer on the table worth around €6 million net per season plus add-ons, and as of yet the player has not given a response one way or the other.

The interest of PSG remains in the background, as the French champions’ interest from the summer has hardly gone away, and on the contrary they would be ready to try and tempt Skriniar with a massive offer.

The Parisians are not the only one of Europe’s heavy-hitters who could try and use a big offer to convince Skriniar to turn down the Nerazzurri’s offer.

According to Sky, interest in Skriniar is picking up from the biggest clubs in the Premier League.

Amid this background, the negotiations between Inter and Skriniar could become increasingly treacherous, and a new deal less and less likely.
