Chelsea would hardly be put off their pursuit of Inter wingback Denzel Dumfries by the high asking price placed upon him.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Blues would not see the €60 million valuation of the Dutchman as an obstacle as they have shown little fear of investing to strengthen their team.

Under current owner Todd Boehly, Chelsea have not been shy about splashing the cash in order to secure their biggest transfer targets.

This was true in the summer transfer window prior to this season, and looks set to continue as they look to have secured the signing of RB Leipzig’s Christopher Nkunku for next summer.

A deal Monaco defender Benoit Badiashile looks soon to follow, whilst the Blues are also eyeing up a huge money deal for Benfica midfielder Enzo Fernandez.

Dumfries has been a major target for the Blues for some time, and therefore it could hardly be ruled out that they will not be afraid of a high valuation.
