Romelu Lukaku and Edin Dzeko are set to start in attack for Inter in tomorrow evening’s friendly match against Sassuolo.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, who reported yesterday afternoon that Nerazzurri head coach Simone Inzaghi is aiming to play what is essentially his strongest possible starting eleven for the match.
Inter have only one friendly match to go before they return to Serie A action next week against league leaders Napoli.
Accordingly, Inzaghi is aiming to test out his strongest team against Sassuolo, giving the players a chance to start finding their rhythm together for next week’s match against Napoli.
In attack, Dzeko and Lukaku will start together, with the pair anticipated to be the starting duo against the Partenopei.
Meanwhile, Francesco Acerbi should start at the heart of the back three, whilst the midfield trio of Hakan Calhanoglu, Nicolo Barella, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan will also start according to Sky.
