Young Inter winger Kevin Zefi took part in the Nerazzurri senior team’s training session today.
This according to Italian news outlet FCInter1908, who report that the 17-year-old Irish youth international was among the young players called up from the Primavera team to the first team’s training session by coach Nerazzurri Simone Inzaghi today.
Zefi joined Inter’s youth academy from that of Irish club Shamrock Rovers during the summer of 2021.
The 17-year-old is highly-regarded as a youth prospect, and has spent the past year and a half playing and training with the Nerazzurri’s youth teams.
This season, the Irishman has been a part of the Nerazzurri’s Primavera team.
Zefi has also made appearances for the Republic of Ireland at several youth levels, including the Under-19 level.
Inter coach Inzaghi has decided to call up some of the team’s youngsters to training at points during the World Cup break.
In today’s session, the coach invited a number of players from the Primavera team to senior training, and Zefi was notably among them.
