Former Napoli striker Roberto Sosa believes that Inter striker Romelu Lukaku and Edin Dzeko will make life difficult for the Partenopei.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Vikonos Radio Web TV, via FCInterNews, Sosa noted that in the form that they’ve shown during the break, the two Nerazzurri strikers will give the Napoli backline a tough match.

Lukaku and Dzeko have been the strike pair that Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has been testing over the past couple friendly matches going into the Nerazzurri’s Serie A return against Napoli.

The pair shone in the team’s performances against Reggina and Sassuolo, with Dzeko in particular looking sharp and well worth his goal in yesterday’s win over the Partenopei.

Napoli could feel that they have yet to really have been tested by a strike pair as effective as the Belgian and the Bosnian.

For Sosa’s part, he feels that Lukaku and Dzeko are the two players who the Partenopei will have every reason to worry about.

“I watched the Nerazzurri against Sassuolo,” he said, “Dzeko and Lukaku are certainly going to be tough customers for the Napoli backline.”

Sosa added that “I don’t know who will play alongside Kim, whether it will be Rrahmani, Ostigard, or Juan Jesus.”

He also added that “I don’t think that Lautaro will start, he’s only just returning from injury.”
