Inter are in danger of missing out on Borussia Monchengladbach forward Marcus Thuram, with Manchester United ready to make a move for him this month.

According to British tabloid the Daily Mail, the Red Devils are keen to add a new attacker to their squad after Cristiano Ronaldo terminated his contract with the club before Christmas, and coach Erik ten Hag has identified France international Thuram as a target.

Thuram is out of contract at Gladbach this summer and has made clear his desire to leave the Bundesliga club, with Inter ready to bring him to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on a free transfer ahead of next season.

However, this could be thrown into doubt by news that Manchester United are willing to pay Gladbach a fee to secure Thuram now, and Inter are not ready to compete for him until the summer.

The former Guingamp player is not the only target for the Premier League club, with Barcelona’s Memphis Depay also being considered for a return to Old Trafford.
