Inter centre-back Milan Skriniar has received a contract offer worth €8 million per season from Paris Saint-Germain, surpassing the deal proposed by the Nerazzurri.
As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Repubblica, the Slovakia international has not yet responded to Inter’s offer of €6m net plus bonuses, and the Biscione must now attempt to compete with the Ligue 1 champions.
Skriniar has entered the final six months of his existing contract and is set to become a free agent at the end of the season unless Inter can reach an agreement with him, and he is expected to give the Nerazzurri his answer to their offer shortly.
However, PSG are looking to convince the 27-year-old to make the switch to France and have now upped their offer to him.
Skriniar joined Inter from Sampdoria in 2017 and has made 236 appearances for the club, scoring 11 goals and helping the Nerazzurri win the Serie A title in 2021, as well as the Coppa Italia last season.
