Inter are closely following the situation of Valencia defender Mouctar Diakhaby, who has yet to agree a new contract with his current club.

This according to Spanish news outlet Superdeporte, via FCInterNews, who report that the 26-year-old is on the Nerazzurri’s radar as a possible free transfer opportunity to reinforce their back three.

Diakhaby’s current contract with Valencia is set to run out at the end of June 2023.

Los Che are trying to convince the Guinean international to extend his deal past the end of the season.

However, as of yet Diakhaby has shown little inclination to agree a new deal with the Spaniards, preferring to move elsewhere on a free transfer at the end of his contract.

Inter have been following the former Lyon defender’s situation for some time.

According to Superdeporte, the Nerazzurri continue to be one of the main clubs monitoring Diakhaby’s situation with a view to a possible free transfer during the summer window.
