Wingback Denzel Dumfries is ahead of Matteo Darmian to start on Inter’s right flank in tomorrow evening’s Serie A clash with Napoli.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who reported this evening via FCInter1908 that the Dutchman will be included in the starting eleven, as will strikers Edin Dzeko and Romelu Lukaku, and Francesco Acerbi at the heart of the defense.
Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will have a few decisions to make in terms of the starting eleven for tomorrow’s match.
Dumfries and Darmian and both in contention to start at right-wingback, with the fitness of the former the main consideration for the coach.
The 26-year-old former PSV wingback should be ready to start that match, and is favourite to do so over Darmian.
In attack, Sky report that it is likely that Dzeko and Lukaku will start as they did in friendlies against Reggina and Sassuolo, despite the competition of Lautaro Martinez who is increasingly finding form.
