Inter have no intention of raising their contract extension to defender Milan Skriniar, whose response to their existing offer they are awaiting.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who reported yesterday evening via FCInterNews that the Nerazzurri will not be going beyond the roughly €6 million net per seasons plus add-ons that has always been on the table for the 27-year-old.
Inter continue to await Skriniar’s response, although they do not plan to do so forever and expect it to finally arrive around the middle of the current month.
The offer that the 27-year-old and his representatives have had for some time is worth around €6 million net per seasons plus add-ons.
This would be nowhere near the proposal that he has received from French giants Paris Saint-Germain.
The Nerazzurri do not intend to raise their offer to get any closer to the Parisians’, however.
According to Sky, the offer is essentially take-it-or-leave-it, and Inter are waiting to see what Skriniar decides.
