Premier League giants Manchester United are ready to make a €15 million offer for Inter-linked Borussia Monchengladbach striker Marcus Thuram.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, via FCInterNews, who reported this afternoon that the Red Devils are keen to get a deal wrapped up to sign the 25-year-old during the January transfer window.

The competition to sign Thuram is heating up, with Inter having already spoken with the Frenchman’s representatives several times about either a free transfer next summer or a move in January.

According to Mediaset, United are increasingly keen to get a deal done to sign the former Guingamp player as early as this month.

The Red Devils want to beat the competition for Thuram’s signature, and see him as an ideal attacking reinforcement following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Accordingly, Mediaset report, the Premier League club are close to offer €15 million to Gladbach to try and sign the 25-year-old this month.
