There’s a slight chance that Inter wingback Raoul Bellanova could already return to Cagliari from his loan spell with Inter this month.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that bringing back the 22-year-old would be one option on the table for the Rossoblu to improve as they look to reach promotion to Serie A for next season.

Bellanova is currently only on loan at Inter from Cagliari, and have a purchase option for the end of the current season.

The 22-year-old’s future past the end of the current campaign is far from certain, but according to Tuttosport, even for this month it is not off the table that he could go back to Cagliari.

The Sardinians are looking to strengthen for the second half of the season in Serie B under newly-appointed head coach Claudio Ranieri, and bringing back Bellanova is one possible course of action to them according to Tuttosport, albeit a relatively remote one.
