Inter CEO Beppe Marotta feels that the Nerazzurri are in a position where they can have a great second part of the season.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster DAZN, via FCInterNews, the CEO expressed faith in the work that coach Simone Inzaghi and the players have done, and that they can leave their mark over the rest of the campaign.

Inter return to Serie A action after 52 days away against Napoli this evening.

The Nerazzurri will face one of their most difficult tests of the season in the form of the Partenopei, and from here things won’t get much easier over the rest of the campaign with a packed fixture list.

However, the team have used the winter break to get as prepared for the challenges ahead as they can, physically, mentally, and tactically.

For his part, Marotta trusts the team, and he believes in the work that Inzaghi has been done guiding them to this point.

“I think we’ve done a good job,” he said, “the coach and his staff have worked very well along with the squad.”

“I believe that we can be competitive, entertain the fans, and do something great from here on.”
