Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has a couple of remaining doubts for the starting eleven in this evening’s Serie A clash with Napoli.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri coach will only make his selections at right-wingback and in attack based on this morning’s training sessions.
On the right flank, Inzaghi will have to make a last-minute decision between Denzel Dumfries and Matteo Darmian.
Dumfries would be the natural first-choice, but given that the Dutchman has not quite reached peak physical condition following the World Cup, Inzaghi will have to decide whether or not he is fit to start based on today’s final training session before the match.
Should the coach be unconvinced, then Darmian would be ready to step in for him.
Meanwhile, in attack Romelu Lukaku is a virtual certainty to start.
However, Inzaghi has not quite fully made up his mind as to whether to start Edin Dzeko or Lautaro Martinez alongside the Belgian, and will only do so this morning according to Tuttosport.
