Inter striker Edin Dzeko feels that his attacking partner Romelu Lukaku is in good condition, and can give the team a big help on the pitch.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster DAZN, as reported by FCInterNews, the Bosnian explained that the Belgian is doing well physically, and expressed the hope that he can show it on the pitch starting with this evening’s match against Napoli.

Lukaku has spent the December break after the World Cup working on getting back to not just his best physical condition, but also to match-sharpness.

This has been no easy task given the amount of time that the 29-year-old had been out with an injury.

However, it is no secret that Lukaku has been working intensely in training to try and regain his best form.

From Dzeko’s perspective, his strike partner has gotten back to good condition, and he is hopeful that this will be evident.

“He’s doing well physically,” the 36-year-old said when asked about Lukaku, “now let’s hope that he can show it on the pitch, because we’ve missed him over the past six months.”
