Joaquin Correa was the one Inter player not up to par in yesterday evening’s 1-0 Serie A win over Napoli.

This is the view in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who give the 28-year-old a score of just 5/10 for his performance in the player ratings for the match.

Correa came on for Edin Dzeko in the second half of the match, with the Bosnian clearly tiring.

The Argentine former Lazio forward struggled to hold onto possession when the ball came to him, giving the ball away on numerous occasions.

Moreover, Correa offered little in terms of threat in behind the Partenopei backline and in the final third.

As far as the rest of the Nerazzurri’s team goes, however, the Gazzetta was nothing but complimentary.

Match-winner Dzeko received a 7.5/10 score and commendation as the man of the match, whilst Nicolo Barella also received the same score.

Meanwhile, the entire backline of Milan Skriniar, Francesco Acerbi, and Alessandro Bastoni received scores of 7/10.
