Inter striker Edin Dzeko has proved that he’s capable of making a difference well in his thirties in a way that few players have in Serie A.

In fact, not only has the 36-year-old Bosnian scored more goals for the Nerazzurri in the league than any one player over the age of 35, but all of them combined in the club’s history.

This fact was noted in a Twitter post by football statistics account Opta on their official account.

They tweeted, “20 – Edin Dzeko has scored 20 Serie A goals for Inter, each of them after turning 35: all the other Inter players who have found the net at 35+ years old in the competition have scored 19 in total. Endless.
