Monza head coach Raffaele Palladino feels that whilst Inter are a very strong opponent, his team can still try to give them a difficult match.

Speaking in a press conference after the Brianzoli’s 1-1 draw with Fiorentina, via FCInterNews, the coach gave his thoughts briefly ahead of tomorrow evening’s Serie A match against the Nerazzurri.

After beating the league leaders Napoli, newly-promoted Monza could seem to be comparatively easier opposition for Inter.

However, the Nerazzurri’s Lombard neighbours have already caused a few upsets this season, as they look to more than have both the quality and the organization, as well as the motivation, to push for Serie A survival in every match regardless of the opponent.

For his part, Palladino is hopeful that the Brianzoli can really give Inter a game, particularly in front of their own fans.

The coach doesn’t expect anything other than a difficult match, but has hardly given up hope.

“Inter are definitely a top team,” he said.

“Still, we have to approach the match with clear head and self-belief, and we’ll try to cause problems for them.”
