Inter are one of Juventus’s main rivals to sign young Atalanta defender Giorgio Scalvini.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, who report that the Bianconeri are keen on signing the 19-year-old but that it will not be easy considering the Nerazzurri’s interest.

Juventus are looking to refresh in the central defensive positions.

Jakub Kiwior is one of the Bianconeri’s main targets in defense, but the 22-year-old Polish international is not the only defender on their radar.

Scalvini has emerged as one of the most impressive young defenders in Serie A over the past couple of seasons, and is also being tracked by Juventus.

However, the 19-year-old Atalanta is also very much a player on Inter’s radar.

The Nerazzurri would particularly be keen to sign Scalvini in the event that Milan Skriniar were to leave at the end of his contract in the summer, and would be ready to rival Juventus if so.
