The Nerazzurri will have known that any result other than a win would leave their title hopes teetering on the brink, and they produced a performance that showed that they weren’t afraid of the stakes.
Edin Dzeko was the Nerazzurri’s match-winning hero with his second half goal, whilst the entire team looked superb on both sides of the ball against a side who hadn’t been beaten in fifteen matches so far this campaign.
Dzeko celebrated the result in a post on his Instagram account, captioned “Great win at San Siro!”
