The Nerazzurri will have known that any result other than a win would leave their title hopes teetering on the brink, and they produced a performance that showed that they weren’t afraid of the stakes.
Edin Dzeko was the Nerazzurri’s match-winning hero with his second half goal, whilst the entire team looked superb on both sides of the ball against a side who hadn’t been beaten in fifteen matches so far this campaign.
Dzeko’s goal was only the end of a sequence which included a brilliant cross-field pass from Henrikh Mkhitaryan and a perfect delivery in from Federico Dimarco, and the club shared a video of the entire goal on their official Instagram account.
